  • Chapter 1: WTO vs. TRAINS: A quantitative comparison of time-varying ad-valorem equivalents for non-tariff trade measures.
I compare AVE estimates of non-tariff measures derived from TRAINS and WTO notification data, highlighting significant discrepancies and their implications for usage of NTM data in trade analysis.
  • Chapter 2: The impact of non-tariff trade measures on labor outcomes: lessons from the US–China trade war
In this paper, I examine how trade policy shapes agricultural labor outcomes by linking industry-level exposure to U.S.–China tariff changes with commuting zone level employment, incorporating both retaliatory tariffs and ad valorem equivalents of Chinese NTBs.
  • Chapter 3: Diet change and diabetes diagnosis.
I analyze dietary changes after a diabetes diagnosis, measuring improvements in diet quality with the Healthy Eating Index across prediabetes, type 1, and type 2 diabetes.
